We would like to draw your attention to this amazing couple! A few months ago we had the opportunity to buy these two penguin chairs. The designer Theo Ruth designed them in 1955 and these two copies were made in 1957. The chair is a variant of the Congo that was devised by Ruth on the basis of an African chair construction.
Our regular master upholsterer 'Van Noor Upholstery' in Amsterdam has reupholstered these two with great enthusiasm and love with the high-quality Hallingdal fabric from Kvadrat. We chose black and white fabric that does justice to the design and the name: the Penguins. With the words of Noor: "What a party this was"
The seats of the chairs are interchangeable, creating a surprising effect. The seating comfort is optimal.

The chairs are only sold as a set.
