Set “Pod’s” by Overman

🇳🇱: Twee van deze schoonheden — en ze draaien nog ook! Dit is een set Overman Pod Swivel Chairs, ontworpen door Carl Eric Klote voor het Zweedse meubelicoon Overman AB. Overman begon in Zweden en verhuisde later naar Lüneburg, Duitsland — in de vroege jaren ’60 produceerden ze deze iconische draaiende pod-stoelen.  Het silhouet is puur space age: een omsluitende, sculpturale schaal in zwart leer op een vierpuntige aluminium draaibasis. Comfortabel, tijdloos, en absoluut een blikvanger in elk interieur. Als duo nóg indrukwekkender.

🇬🇧: A matching pair — and they still swivel perfectly! These are Overman Pod Swivel Chairs, designed by Carl Eric Klote for Swedish furniture icon Overman AB. A remarkably high-quality and comfortable chair, with a gorgeous cast aluminum star-form base  and an enveloping pod shell upholstered in black leather. Overman began production in Sweden before relocating to Lüneburg, Germany, producing these very cool swivel pod chairs in the early 1960s.  Pure Space Age design — sculptural, functional, and utterly iconic as a pair.
